Exclusive interview with Mr. Zbigniew Noszewski – the CEO of NEYA, vice President of Hotele Historyczne Polska
Lądek Zdrój was one of the most fashionable and prestigious SPA in Poland. How do you find your hotel in this environment?
Klodzko district is a very unusual place, mostly because of beautiful countryside, cultural and therapeutic values of the region,. Lądek Zdró is the most recognized SPA in Poland. For many years this place was a little bit godforsaken. However local intiative of the state let the place get back into splendor time. I specially support all initiatives which shows the cultural face of the region. ZAMEK NA SKALE wants to make it's cultural mark in the region.
We are the participants in: the Lądek Musical and Ballet Summer, jazz concerts, opera performances and many exhibitions organized in our town. We also help to promote local artists. We hope that mutual cooperation between local authorities and state authorities will let our town to get back it's prestigious days.
What is the difference between your hotel and other objects in your area? Perfect location of your hotel it's probably additional attraction to your guests. What are your guest's impressions?
Localization of our hotel is really a great advantage and it makes us begin recognized among other once. The Castle is located at the river, we have thirteen hectare and bi-level garden. Our guests mostly value peace, quiet environment and calm sough of the river. We are also very special enterprise as the hotel which promote the region and the curtural development of our district. We just want to show to other players from branch that is really important to identify yourself with the place where you lie.
Our readers are mostly businessmen, politicians, artists, very demanded people. Can you assure in your hotel located in the old Castle possibility to use all modern technologies and stay in a comfortable place (for example wireless internet)?
We got a lot of rewards and distinctions. Hotel was opened three years ago and it has a very strong position on the market. This year we received so many rewards. We are very happy and pleased because of it and at the same time a special motivation for development. As first hotel in Poland we go ISO 9001:2008. We also got a reward :Just the best" as a model company of 2009 in a category for four star hotels, castles and historical objects. All those rewards guarantee our guests the highest level of our services. For us a very special reward is: “The Luxury Brand" received from Gentleman Magazine in the category "Hotel in the relic".
Personally, I see more and more interest in organizing events and trainings in relic objects. We combine unusual valors of our ocation with very modern equipment and perfect service. It's always confirmed by our guests. As I see that other hotels are not able to offer it's guests such a stay in the Castle which has a sole. We offer professional conference center, very good highest level European kitchen and unusual SPA. More and more often our conference guests enjoy relax and SPA service offered by us.
What is the special remark of your SPA? What kind of exertions do you offer to your guest?
Tradition of Lądek Zdrój comes form eighteenth century. Our town was visited by people from all over Europe who were coming to us to aid their health and beauty. Our SPA is based on od sixteenth century prescriptions. In our method and SPA exertions we use beer extracts, red and white wine, clay, herbs and many plants which grow in most of other European countries. The additional value of our SPA is a handmade preparations of most products. We use, specially for woman, flower’s petals which are purred on their bodies. For man, we offer bear lining which end with a mug of bear. Couples, we invite to the romantic bath with candles and a glass of red or white wine. Somehow we try to extend our SPA offer into more and more attractive. We also offer seasoned products: juice, fruits, flowers and we add more and more SPA services, relaxing massages which come from the Far East and Orient.
Perfect location is unquestionable attitude of the hotel, what about kitchen? Do you serve something unusual?
Served dishes are prepared by the World Grill Master, Mr. Marek Mol. All served courses are very original in their form and taste. I personally recommend "Troth in courtship way" – it's my personal although our restaurant won a reward "A place worth it's eating" in the10 2009 ranking. To make it's own opinion, the best is – to check it by yourself.
Do you welcome your guests also while Christmas and New Year? What attraction have you prepared for the seasons guests?
Every year we prepare Christams and New Year and many of our visitors come to us every year. The place for this season must be booked around September. For today all places are already reserved. We organize, in this period, opera performances prepared by the Great Poznan Theatre.
What are the winter attractions?
The biggest attraction is the skiing slope "Black Mountain" (1205m over the sea) with skiing routes for starts and already advanced fans of winter sports. Our guests also like so much Nordic Walking. We often organize special attractions and tours to Radochowska Cave. You should also see the Bear Cave with extraordinary stalagmites and stalactites and listen to stories about the Gold Mine in Złoty Stok. During a snow winter you should also try sledge ride around the neighborhood and romantic Castle's park.
